The room was very clean and had smoke detectors, which met our needs perfectly. This place was spotlessly clean and even had smoke detectors, which is exactly what we needed.

I recently stayed at Clare House for a night away and the location was absolutely lovely. Being able to park right outside my room was convenient, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. The staff at the Crown Pub, who own the house, were helpful in guiding me to the accommodation. at a good value compared to Premier Inn prices, it was a great experience.
I do recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at Clare House before in the annex rooms, but this time I stayed in the main house. the kitchen was a good size and the room on the first floor was comfortable. Although there were no windows, there was a skylight. the shower room was of a decent size and the bed was nice and comfortable. There were also handy sockets by the bed. the room was very clean and comfortable. the parking was ample and I really liked the location, which was perfect for a night away. the process of checking in was a bit different, as Clare House is managed by the nearby Crown Hotel. I had to call the Crown Hotel, and they joined me after five minutes with the keys.
Food options for both dinner and breakfast were available nearby.

The walls in the accommodation are paper-thin, which can be a drawback for those sensitive to noise.

Ample parking and efficient arrival process were positives of this hotel. the room was clean and comfortable, which was a relief after a long day of business meetings. the staff from the nearby hotel were helpful in providing the keys and showcasing the room.
The road noise was extremely disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the lack of a fan worsened this problem, as closing the window to reduce noise wasn't an option.
